The Rain in España Storyline & Synopsis
Saludes was just 12 years old at the moment she discovered her love for writing fiction. Just 10 years later, at twenty, the young woman from the small town of Bataan became famous by writing an eponymous love story titled “Along Espana” and posting it on a different platform called Twitter. Saludes utilized the small space on Twitter to write what would eventually become an extremely viewed online novel in the Philippines as well as the Twitter threads bursting like pages of a romantic pocketbook.
Luna Heaven, the character of Heaven, is the female main character of The University Series’ first installment written by the authors 4reuminct and Gwy Saludes. Although the actress has revealed that certain aspects of the show may differ from the novel but the core of Luna’s power as an individual woman and the camaraderie among the characters, are present.
Along with Luna’s gang and her friends, they’ll navigate the stages of maturity and adulthood with a keen eye and a sense of adventure. The sneak peek also includes an era-hopping time line based on the prologue of the novel, in which Luna is currently an architect, crosses paths with her ex-boyfriend. Heaven and Marco recognize that there are many against them because they were selected to play the lead roles in The Rain in Espana.
