Vestidas de Azul is set two years after the demise of Cristina Rodriguez, La Veneno, and La Veneno. Valeria comes back to Valencia and comes across the VHS from the mentioned documentary. The stories she gathers be the basis for her new book which, yet again, she will recount the stories of women who don’t have the right to be forgotten.
The plot unfolds two years after the demise of Cristina Rodriguez, known as La Veneno. Valeria is back in Valencia and comes across the VHS from the film Vestida de Azul, a film that recounts the lives of transgender individuals in the beginning of Spain. in the 1980s.
These experiences will be the inspiration for the book written by a young woman who, for the second time chooses to write about women who don’t deserve to be left out. The story will alternate from present to past to show the experiences of transgender people were like during the midst of a hostile environment.
