Year Of Storyline & Synopsis
Year Of is the story of a group of inner-city teens and their upwards and downwards in the last 2 years in high school. When one event could change the entire community, it puts every one of our characters on a path to change and self-discovery. The old friendships end and make way for new, exciting ones in which every character must reevaluate the things that matter to them most and the person they wish to be.
The series starts with what is a Year 11 kids’ social top-of-the-line event – throwing a Year 12 house party. Hook-ups are popping, pills are arranged, and hopes and fears are revealed. Unexpected alliances are formed and football matches are won, romantic relationships are tentatively forged and friendships forged and ended. Friendships that have been strained for years create new ones. It’s the most stressful moment in their life… to date at least.
