The story is set in a small town in which the police along with mother to two Veronika Gren (Alexandra Rapaport) is struggling with her complex family life as well as a hidden tablet addiction. When bizarre events begin to occur and a dead man is revealed before the camera, Veronika believes she is lost in thought. However, she is obliged to believe that the man is not an illusion.
Soon Veronika is caught in the middle of an investigation into a murder that goes deeper than everyone in the town would like to believe when she discovers that two teenagers have been killed. Veronika has to discover the truth and discover the link between the two cases to stop the murderer from committing another murder. But can anyone trust her?”
